Dimmu Borgir ( /ˌdɪmuː ˈbɔrɡɪər/) is a Norwegian black metal band from Oslo, Norway, formed in 1993. Dimmu borgir means "dark cities" or "dark castles/fortresses" in Icelandic, Faroese and Old Norse. The name is derived from a volcanic formation in Iceland, Dimmuborgir. The band has been through numerous line-up changes over the years; guitarist Silenoz and vocalist Shagrath are the only founding members remaining.

Biography

For All Tid and Stormblåst period

Dimmu Borgir was founded in 1993 by Shagrath, Silenoz, and Tjodalv, the band released an EP in 1993 entitled Inn i evighetens mørke ("Into the Darkness of Eternity" in English). This short EP sold out within weeks, and the band followed up with the 1994 full length album For All Tid ('For All Time' in English) This album featured vocal contributions by Vicotnik of Ved Buens Ende and Dødheimsgard and Aldrahn of Dødheimsgard and Zyklon-B. The initial lineup consisted of Shagrath playing drums with Tjodalv on guitar and Silenoz contributing lead vocals. This line-up changed before the release of Stormblåst (translates to "Storm Blown") on Cacophonous Records in 1996, an album considered by many to be their finest.^[3] It is also the last album which features all lyrics written and sung in Norwegian.^[4][5] This album was criticized by Allmusic because of bad sound quality and inaccessibility to wide audience.

Enthrone Darkness Triumphant period

After Stormblåst, keyboardist Stian Aarstad left the band due to his obligation to serve in the Norwegian army, thus being unable to participate in the 1996 recording of Devil's Path. That period was also marked by the departure of bassist Brynjard Tristan and the arrival of Nagash. Stian Aarstad returned for the recording of 1997's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant. While on tour to support the album, he had trouble attending rehearsals and being on tour, and was subsequently fired. Enthrone Darkness Triumphant was a huge success for the band, and was their first release signed to Nuclear Blast, a German record label. The album was recorded in the Abyss Studios, owned by Hypocrisy's frontman Peter Tägtgren. After the release of Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, the band went on tour with In Flames, Dissection and other bands who had penetrated to the scene at the time.

Spiritual Black Dimensions and Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia period

After the tour for Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, the band recruited new members Mustis on keyboards and Astennu on lead guitar. Dimmu Borgir's following full-length albums Spiritual Black Dimensions in 1999 and 2001's Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, both met critical acclaim.^[9][10][11] However, another line-up change occurred between the two albums; Nagash quit and was replaced by new bassist/singer ICS Vortex, and Tjodalv left due to his family commitments, and to form the subsequent band Susperia, only to be replaced with Nicholas Barker, of Cradle of Filth. Astennu was fired from his guitar duties as well, and was replaced by Galder. Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia is marked as bands one of biggest penetration on wider scene.

Death Cult Armageddon and Stormblåst MMV period

Despite the regular video play on MTV2 and Fuse TV that their follow-up album would receive, the band stated that they were not "commercially-oriented," and instead, they 'simply wished to spread their message to more people'. In 2003, Dimmu Borgir recorded Death Cult Armageddon. Death Cult Armageddon was recorded with the Prague Philarmonic Orchestra, conducted by Adam Klemens. All orchestrations were arranged by Gaute Storaas (who had previously worked with Dimmu Borgir on the album Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia) In 2004, Dimmu Borgir performed on the mainstage at Ozzfest.

In 2005, the band did a complete re-recording of the Stormblåst album, featuring Hellhammer of Mayhem fame as the session drummer. The album also featured a DVD with a live performance from the 2004 Ozzfest tour.

In Sorte Diaboli period

Dimmu Borgir's eighth studio album, In Sorte Diaboli, was released April 24, 2007. A special edition version was released in a boxed case with a DVD, backward-printed lyrics, and a mirror. The album artwork was released on February 14, 2007 on a promotional webpage for the album. This album features the drumming of "Hellhammer" Jan Axel Blomberg of Mayhem. Blomberg left the band in mid tour in 2007 because of a neck injury that resulted in limited movement of his right arm. With the release of this album, Dimmu Borgir became the first black metal band with a number one album in their native country.

In 2009, members ICS Vortex and Mustis independently announced their departure from Dimmu Borgir. Mustis released a statement claiming his disfavor with the band, stating that he was not properly credited for his writing contributions to the band's music, mentioning possibly taking legal action.^[19]

Dimmu Borgir soon after confirmed the pair's dismissal from the band, releasing a statement explaining why the two were fired.^[20] Shagrath, Silenoz, and Galder wrote, "Funny then, how the new album is halfway finished written already by the rest of us without any of these guys' input, still having all those elements we're known for."^[20]

Dimmu Borgir's ninth studio album, Abrahadabra, was released on September 24, 2010 in Germany, September 27, 2010 for the rest of Europe, and October 12, 2010 in North America. Silenoz explained that the growing periods of time between albums was because the band had stopped writing music while touring, which was affecting the quality of the music. He described the new album as having an "eerie and haunting feel to it," adding that the material is "epic," "primal," atmospheric and ambient. A promotional image released with the statement showed Shagrath returning to the keyboards. The album features an ensemble orchestra, the Kringkastingsorkestret (the Norwegian Radio Orchestra), as well as the Schola Cantorum choir, totaling more than 100 musicians and singers. Gaute Storaas, composer of the orchestral arrangements, released a statement on his role in working on the album. “Their music is epic, thematic and symphonic already from the creation; they are clearly having an orchestral approach to composing. My role in this is sometimes just to transcribe their themes, sometimes to take their ideas, tear them apart and build them back up in ways that are true to the band's intentions. The music must also be both interesting and playable for the musicians, and hopefully, meet the quality standards of the orchestral world.”

On July 8, the band confirmed that they had tapped Swedish multi-instrumentalist Snowy Shaw (Therion, Dream Evil) to replace bassist/clean vocalist ICS Vortex on the band's upcoming album, "Abrahadabra", and world tour. On August 25 it was announced that Snowy Shaw has left Dimmu Borgir to rejoin Therion. On September 17, 2010 Dimmu Borgir released the song "Born Treacherous" from their upcoming album Abrahadabra on their official MySpace page. Then on September 24 the band announced they would stream Abrahadabra in its entirety until 7 p.m. EST that evening. The keyboards and bass are currently played by Gerlioz from Apoptygma Berzerk and Cyrus of Susperia respectively, and the clean vocals are sampled. On May 28, 2011 Dimmu Borgir gave a very special one-off show at the Oslo Spektrum with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and Schola Cantorum choir. A live album and DVD of the show titled "Forces of the Northern Night" with an accompanying documentary is scheduled for release later this year.

Influences

Dimmu Borgir's older releases (since 1992 to 1999) are strongly influenced by Darkthrone, Mayhem, Bathory, Emperor, Celtic Frost, Immortal, Venom and Iron Maiden.^[1] The band became more progressive and symphonic through the years. Significant experimentation started approximately around 2000, during the era of Spiritual Black Dimensions (due to the addition of Vortex's clean vocals, and the variety of musical ideas from then-new member Mustis,) as well as Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia^[15] due to addition of influences from symphonic composers such as Antonín Dvořák, Enya, Richard Wagner and Frédéric Chopin.

Epica is a Dutch symphonic metal band founded by guitarist and vocalist Mark Jansen subsequent to his departure from After Forever. They are known for their symphonic^[1] sound and the use of female vocals and male growls performed by Simone Simons and Mark Jansen, respectively. All six members write the music, but Mark Jansen and Simone Simons write most of the lyrics.^{[citation needed]}

History

 Cry for the Moon (2002–2003)

In early 2002, Mark Jansen left After Forever over creative differences. He then began looking for musicians who would work towards a more classical/symphonic type of music project; this was initially named “Sahara Dust”. In late 2002, the band courted Helena Michaelsen (from Trail of Tears) as its frontwoman, but shortly after she was replaced by the then unknown mezzo-soprano Simone Simons, who was Jansen’s girlfriend at the time. The band's line-up was completed by guitarist Ad Sluijter, drummer Jeroen Simons, bassist Yves Huts, and keyboard player Coen Janssen. The name was later changed to Epica, inspired by Kamelot’s eponymous album.

Epica then assembled a choir (made up of two men and four women) and a string orchestra (three violins, two violas, two cellos and an upright bass) to play along with them. Still under the name Sahara Dust, they produced a two-song demo entitled Cry for the Moon in 2002. As a result, they were signed to Transmission Records.

The Phantom Agony (2003–2004)

Their debut album, The Phantom Agony, was produced by Sascha Paeth (known for having produced bands such as Angra, Rhapsody of Fire and Kamelot) and released in late 2003. The song “Façade of Reality” on the album was written about the September 11 attacks and includes fragments from speeches by Tony Blair.

The album was followed by three singles: “The Phantom Agony”, “Feint” and “Cry for the Moon”.

Consign to Oblivion / The Score (2005–2007)

Their second release, entitled Consign to Oblivion, was influenced by the culture of the Maya civilization, which can be noticed on songs in the “A New Age Dawns” series. “A New Age Dawns” refers to the time system of the Mayan people, which extends up to the year of 2012, and makes no reference of what may happen past said year. Consign to Oblivion was composed with film scores as a basis, with Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman cited as major inspirations. The album features guest singing by Roy Khan (from Kamelot) on the song “Trois Vierges”. Epica also joined Kamelot as a support band on parts of their tour for promotion of the The Black Halo album, to which Simons had contributed her vocals on the track “The Haunting (Somewhere In Time)”.

Two singles were released from the album, “Solitary Ground” and “Quietus (Silent Reverie)”.

Epica’s non-metal album The Score – An Epic Journey was released in September 2005 and is the soundtrack for a Dutch movie called Joyride, though it could also be considered to be their third album. Mark Jansen describes the album as typical Epica, “only without the singing, without the guitars, no bass and no drums”.

In 2005 and 2006 Epica went on their first tour throughout North America with Kamelot. After the tour, drummer Jeroen Simons left the band because of his wish to pursue other musical interests. In Fall 2006, Simone once again contributed vocals to an album of Kamelot, this time on the tracks “Blücher” and “Season’s End” on the album Ghost Opera. In December, Ariën van Weesenbeek from God Dethroned was announced via Epica’s official website as the guest drummer for their new album, but not as a permanent band member.

The Divine Conspiracy (2007–2009)

In September 2007, Epica headlined their first tour through North America and released their third album, The Divine Conspiracy, this time on a new label, Nuclear Blast. That December, Ariën van Weesenbeek was announced to be Epica’s permanent new drummer. The band toured North America again in April 2008 with Into Eternity and Symphony X, this time with Amanda Somerville because Simone had contracted a staph infection (MRSA).

The first single of the album was released on August 10, 2007 entitled “Never Enough”.

The second single, “Chasing the Dragon,” was released in 2008 without an accompanying video.

On December 16, 2008, Ad Sluijter left the band. He left a message on his Myspace page with his reasoning for leaving the band, which included frustration over being unable to enjoy composing music because of deadlines. Ad’s successor on guitar was announced in January 2009 to be Isaac Delahaye, who is formerly of God Dethroned fame.

In May of that year, Epica recorded The Classical Conspiracy, their first live album. The live show took place in Miskolc, Hungary on June 14, 2008, in the framework of the Miskolc Opera Festival (where Therion did a similar show a year before). It included a 40-piece orchestra and a 30-piece choir, and the setlist contained not only the band’s songs, but also covers of classical pieces of Antonio Vivaldi, Antonín Dvořák, Giuseppe Verdi, Edvard Grieg, and of soundtracks of the movies Star Wars, Spider-Man and Pirates of the Caribbean. It was released on May 8, 2009 through Nuclear Blast Records.

Design Your Universe (2009–2011)

On March 4, 2009, Epica announced their return to the studio where they would begin the recording process for a new album. In April 2009, it was revealed that the new album’s title would be “Design Your Universe”. It continued the A New Age Dawns saga which started on Consign to Oblivion. The album was released on October 16, 2009. To promote this release, they performed in Amsterdam at Paradiso on October 10, 2009.^{[citation needed]} This is the first Epica album to feature Isaac Delahaye. The record also contains a guest appearance from Sonata Arctica vocalist Tony Kakko on the song “White Waters”. The album debuted in #8 in the Dutch charts. On December 31, 2009, it was announced through their website that a new single will be released. The song is called “This Is the Time” and all profit will go to World Wide Fund for Nature.^{[citation needed]}

In September 2010, Simone once again contributed vocals to an album of Kamelot, this time on the tracks "House on a Hill", "Poetry for the Poisoned, Pt. II: So Long" and "Poetry for the Poisoned, Pt. III: All Is Over" on the album Poetry for the Poisoned.

5th studio album (2011–Present)

In an interview in November 2010, Simone stated that the band is going to start writing music around February 2011 after their Latin American tour is over. She also stated that they are hoping for a release in the first quarter of 2012. As of May 2011, 14 tracks have been written without lyrics. The band plans to enter the studio after the Summer. Sascha Paeth will once again be the producer. The album is currently due to be released on March 9, 2012.

Style

The contrast between Simone Simons’ operatic vocals and Mark Jansen’s death grunts is a feature of Epica’s music.

Epica performs a blend of progressive metal,^[14][15][16] gothic metal^[17][18][19] and symphonic metal.^[20][21] Another component of Epica’s style is power metal;^[20] their former guitarist Ad Sluijter having described the band as “a bridge between power metal and gothic metal.”^[22] Vocalist Simone Simons has expressed a preference for the group to be described as symphonic metal^[23] though the founder of the group Mark Jansen notes that they do not mind being called gothic metal.^[24]

The music of Epica is aggressive, bombastic and excessive with some songs being “epic, grand and majestic” and others “more subdued and introspective.” The band is also known to have progressive tendencies while a gothic atmosphere and sentimentality is also present in their music.

Epica uses a “trademark of many symphonic and gothic metal bands” in contrasting “two extremes, death grunts and brutality on one side, airy female melodiousness on the other.” Eduardo Rivadavia of Allmusic notes that the band’s “attraction ultimately hinges on exploring the sonic contrasts of light and dark; the punishing intensity of those elephantine guitar riffs and hyperactive drumming cast against the soaring, layered sweetness of the orchestrated strings and keyboards.” Simone Simons delivers operatic vocals in a mezzo-soprano range though she has also been known to sometimes sing “with a clear alto voice that has a flawless tone and a lot of emotion.” Mark Jansen delivers death grunts “that are secondary to Simons’ singing, but very important in terms of balance and variety.” The group is also known to employ human choirs and orchestras with additional embellishments such as spoken word recitals and lyrics in Latin and Arabic.

S W E D E N ### السويد فى موسيقى الميتال ### تمتلك السويد ما يقرب من حوالى 3.300 فريق ميتال ( وفقا لموقع ميتال اركيفز ) و تشتهر السويد بأمتلاكها على قاعدة عريضة من افضل و احسن فرق الديث ميتال بكافة تصنيفاته الفرعية و يكفى ان تصنيف مثل تصنيف ال MELODIC DEATH METAL تم تصنيعه و تطويره على الاراضى السويدية و تحديدا فى مدينة جوتنبرج لدرجة ان هذا التصنيف اخذ تسمية THE SOUND OF GUTENBERG . و تمتلك السويد حوالى 1300 فريق ديث ميتال بكافة تصنيفاته الفرعية منهم الاساطير OPETH المعروفين باللعنة السويدية المبدعين و اصحاب تصنيف الميلوديث DARK TRANQUILLITY مخترعين و مطورين تصنيف الميلوديث بالاضافة الى الفريق الظاهرة ARCH ENEMY على الرغم من ان سر شهرة الفريق فى انجذاب الجماهير للFEMALE VOCAL انجيلا ( و هى المانية ) الا ان المعجبين الحقيقيين للفريق يدركون اهمية و قيمة الموسيقيين السويديين و الفريق الرائع فى موسيقته IN FLAMES الذى يطور من موسيقاه و يظهر بأساليب جديدة على الدوام ولا ننسى الفريق الاسطورى صاحب المبدأ التاريخى الواحد AMON AMARTH ادراكهم بقوة و اهمية ماضيهم و فخرهم به و اقتناعهم بمدى ملائمته للموسيقى القوية التى يقدمونها جعلتهم من اهم الفرق و اشهرهم على الساحة الفنية و هناك العديد و العديد و العديد من فرق الديث ميتال التى تتميز بها السويد ولكن المجال لا يتسع الان لذكرهم . ____________ و فى المركز الثانى يتربع تصنيف البلاك ميتال بكافة تصنيفاته الفرعية كثانى تصنيف منتشر فى السويد بحوالى 824 و لكن قليلة هى الفرق التى حصلت على الشهرة من السويد فى عالم البلاك و لعل ابرزهم BATHORY ___________ و فى المركز الثالث ينتشر تصنيف الثراش ميتال ايضا بكثرة فى السويد حيث تمتلك السويد حوالى 620 فريق ثراش ميتال و لكن لم يحصل اى فريق منهم على حظ كافى من الشهرة ___________ و فى المركز الرابع تصنيف الهيفى ميتال بحوالى 542 فريق و لكن لم يشتهر منهم اى فرق معروفة على المستوى العالمى __________ و فى المركز الخامس يتربع تصنيف الباور ميتال بحوالى 246 فريق و لكن لابد من الوضع فى الاعتبار ان هذا التصنيف جديد على السويد و انهم حققوا فيه نجاح و شهرة و اكبر دليل على هذا هوة شهر الفريق المحبوب HAMMER FALL المميزين جدا فى هذا التصنيف من حيث اسلوب ادائهم حيث ان الباور ميتال يحتاج للسرعة و هو امر موجود بالفعل فى الموسيقى السويدية _________ و فى المركز السادس يتربع تصنيف الدووم ميتال بعدد 210 فريق و على الرغم من قلة عدد فرق الدووم الا انها لها فرق ذات بريق عالى و وهج مثل DRACONIAN و الذى يعتبر ظاهرة اخرى فى عالم موسيقى الميتال LAKE OF TEARS CANDLEMASS ___________ و فى المركز الاخير يتربع تصنيف الجوثيك ميتال بحوالى 85 فريق ################## و هكذا ينتهى حديثنا عن السويد كدولة و عن تاريخها فى موسيقى الميتال [align=-webkit-center]و تاني شي رح احكي عن بلد قريبة على السويد ويلي هي فيلندا D #### فنلندا فى عالم الميتال #### ________________________________________________ تمتلك فنلندا قاعدة واسعة و متنوعة و مختلفة من فرق الميتال حيث انه لايوجد سيطرة لتصنيف محدد على الاجواء فى فنلندا بل بالعكس نجد ان عدد الفرق متقارب جدا و انه لا يوجد تصنيف محدد مسيطر على الاجواء بل نجد اختلافات و اسماء عديدة فى كل تصنيف تمتلك فنلندا على حوالى 2,800 فريق متوزعين كالاتى ############### فى المركز الاول يتربع بجدارة تصنيف الديث ميتال مثله مثل جارته السويد و لكن بنسبة معقولة بحوالى 950 فريق ديث ميتال بكافى تصنيفاته و لكن الجدير بالذكر ان عدد الفرق التى تلعب التصنيفات الفرعية للديث اكثر منها فرق تلعب تصنيف الديث حيث ان دائما الموسيقى الفنلندية تميل للناحية اللحنية و الاختلاف فى الموسيقى لذلك نجد اكثر الفرق المشهورة العالمية فى فنلندا تلعب تصنيف ( MELODIC DEATH METAL ) و من ابرز هذه الفرق هى Image has been scaled down 23% (700x467). Click image to open in new window. ______________ و فى المركز الثانى يتربع تصنيف البلاك ميتال بحوالى 750 فريق . و الجدير بالذكر ان عدد الفرق الذين يلعبون تصنيف البلاك ميتال فقط اكثر بكثير من الفرق التى تلعب التصنيفات الفرعية له على عكس الديث ميتال و لكن الشهرة الى الخارج خرجت ايضا للفرق الى تمارس التصنيفات الفرعية و منهم _______________________________ و فى المركز الثالث يتربع تصنيف الثراش بحوالى 450 فريق و لكن لم ينال اى منهم اى حظ من الشهرة . _______________________________ و فى المركز الرابع بتربع تصنيف الهيفى بحوالى 380 فريق و لكن لم ينال اى منهم اى حظ من الشهرة _______________________________ و فى المركز الخامس يتربع تصنيف الدووم ميتال بحوالى 210 فريق يلعبون الدووم بتصنيفاته المتعددة و يوجد فيهم العديد من الاسماء التى لمعت مثل و اخيرا الباند العملاق ________________________ و فى المركز السادس تصنيف الباور ميتال بحوالى 160 فريق و ده فى حد ذاته كانت مفاجأة ليا لان كنت حاسس انى هلاقى عدد كبير من فرق الباور نظرا لان فنلندا من الدول الى اسست التصنيف ده و اظهرته للعالم لكن لقيت العدد قليل و لكن هذا لم يمنع من وجود بعض الفرق العملاقة فى التصنيف على مستوى العالم ولا ينازعهم فيه احد مثل Image has been scaled down 24% (700x326). Click image to open in new window. و ايرلندا الشمالية. و عاصمة المملكة المتحدة هى لندن و اللى هي في انجلترا. و في دول تانية تحت التاج البريطانى و دى قصة لوحدها و لكن المملكة بتعمل على حمايتها وتنظيم شؤنها الدفاعية الا انها لا ترتبط بها دستوريا. اولا يكفى وجود مدينة ليفربول في المملكة المتحدة حيث ان المدينة دى قدمت كتير جدا للموسيقى. يكفى ان المدينة دى تتطور فيها ما يسمى بالbeat music و اللى بسببها حدث ما يسمى بالbritish invasion في الستينات. و يكفى ان المدينة دى شهدت واحده من اكبر و اعرق فرق الروك في التاريخ و هى the Beatles و اللى عملت هوس للناس في الستينات و رغم انهم قعدوا عشر سنين الا انهم عملوا ثورة بوجودهم و باعووا ملايين من الالبومات مين مسمعش let it be او come together او حتى عرف مقدار ما قدموه لتطور الروك بشكل كبير و يكفى ان الفريق ده طلعلنا في المستقبل اتنين من اكبر و اعرق مغنين الروك و هم Sir Paul mccartney و العظيم John lennon و نضيف معاهم ringo starr حيث انه له سجل ناجح بعد ما البيتلز اتفرقوا. غير البيتلز طلع من بريطانيا الكثير و الكثير من فرق الروك اللى لهلئ بنسمعلهم و اثروا في اجيال كثيرة و ساعدوا في تشكيل اللى بنسمعه اليوم تعالى نشوف مثلا::- The who و اللى يعتبروا اكبر المؤثرين على فريق pearl jam حيث انهم بيعتبروهم قدوة و من اكبر اسباب حبهم للموسيقى. و يكفى ان السلسلة التلفزيونية الضخمه CSI سواء Las Vegas اوMiami و كمان new york بيستخدموا اغانى the who في الافتتاحيات بتاعتهم. و كمان عندنا الفريق العملاق و اللى قدم كتير جدا للساحة الفنيةthe rolling stones و بمشوارهم الفنى الممتد الى الان باعوا اكتر من 200 مليون البوم حول العالم !!!!!!!! و اغانيهم غرقت القوائم الامريكية و يعتبروا من احسن 100 فنان في العالم (قايمة بتعملها مجلة rolling stones ) و رصيدهم 22 البوم في بريطانيا و 24 في امريكا. كما انهم بيخططوا انهم يصدروا البوم في 2011 !!!! اما علامتهم, فاكيد شفتها يا على لبس او ولاعات او ستيكرات و غيرهم من المنتجات. We will we will rock او we r the champions ؟؟ مين فينا مو سمعان queen ؟؟ مين متاثرش باغنية show must go on ?? و اللى تعتبر واحدة من اقوى اغانى الروك على الاطلاق. الفريق باع 150 مليون البوم و في احصائيات بتقول ان اجمالى مبيعاتهم 300 مليون البوم و يعتبروا من انجح فرق العالم في المبيعات و عندهم 18اغنية متصدرة المركز الاول في القوائم و شعبية رهيبة من كل انحاء العالم. اما عشاق المزاج العالى فبريطانيا طلعت الفريق الشهير و عملاق الروك cream و اللى طلع منه eric clapton . ازاى نقول بانك و ميجيش في بالنا المملكة المتحدة حيث ان طلع منها العملاق sex pistols اللى مهدوا الطريق لكثير من فرق البانك في المملكة و كملان كان ليها تاثير في حركة الالترنتف. و من اشهر اعمالهم الاغنية المشهورة god save the queen . نيجي بقا لفريق بعتبره حالة متفرده حاجة لوحدها و يعتبروا من الفرق اللى وضعت حجر الاساس للميتال في راى البعض, فرقه من اكتر فرق الروك عبقرية مين متمجزجش بصولوstair way to heaven و لا بعبقرية Kashmir و لا بصوت robert plantالعبقري و لا بدرامز john bonham ؟؟ من الاخر مين لسه مسمعش يعتبر الفريق واحد من اعظم الفرق تاثيرا في تاريخ الروك حيث انهم اثروا على فرق البانك و الالترنتف و الميتال والبروجريسف و كمان فرق برا الروك و الميتال اصلا. كان للفريق تاثير على فرق زىblack sabbath و megadeth . و اثروا في فرق بنك زى the ramones . و اثروا على فرق روك زى queen و velvet revolver . كما ان فرق كتيرة في حركة الجرنج تاثروا باسلوب الفريق زى nirvana . اما الموضة و اللبس فالفريق مهد الطريق لموضة التمنينات و اثر في لبس الفرق و اسلوب لبسهم و عمل شعرهم و لبس الاكسسوارات. و غير هيك بكفى ان الفريق هادطلع ناس متلjimme page وrobert plant . وهلئ خلينا نحكي عن الميتال من الاخر البريطانيين هما اللى حطوا حجر الاساس للنوع ده من الموسيقى و زى ما الكل عارف الميتال بدا على ايد العملاق البريطانى black sabbath . و تكمن اهمية الفريق انهم مش بس بداوا حاجة اسمها ميتال لا و كمان حطوا حجر الاساس لنوع اسمه الدووم ميتال باغنيتهم الشهيرة black sabbath. و يعتبر الفريق مؤثر على اجيال كاملة طلعغت بعدهم و يكفى ان الفريق طلعلنا امير الظلام ozzy osbourne اللى بدور قدملنا تحفة من تحف الميتال blizzard of ozz. و يمكن اهم حاجة قدمتها بريطانيا للميتال هو ما يسمى بالnew British wave of heavy metal و اللى بسببه شفنا فرق زىiron maiden بابداعهم الانهائى و الفريق هاد الو تاثير و سحر خاص يعني يمكن لولاهون ما كان في ديث و لا بلاك و لا تراديشنال و لا مودرن و عندنا كمان فريق من الفرق اللى المؤثرة جدا على فريق زى ميتاليكا خصوصا لارس و حسب كلامه هاد الفريق اللى حببه بجد في الموسيقى دى و اقصد بكلامى فريق diamond head . مين مو سمعان غنية am i evil اكيد سمعناهم ع الاقل من خلال ميتاليكا و من ضمن الموجة هى اسمه budgie و هو فريق من ويلز و يعتبر من الفرق المؤثرة و القوية اللى ظهرت في السبعينات. واكيد ما مننسا الحس الانثوي يلي جاب شهرة منيحة و عملوا شغل كويس girlschool و اللى اشتغلوا كتير معmotorhead . و لمحبين الاكستريم اكيد في ناس هون بتحب mayhem او celtic frost و ممكن hellhammer و فرق تانية كتيرة بس واضع حجر الاساس للاكستريم و البلاك الميتال هو الفريق البريطانى العملاق venom خصوصا بعد اصداره لالبوم black metal و اللى منها البلاك ميتال تم تسميته بالاسم ده. فتخيل مدى تاثير الباند لدرجة ياخدوا اسم الالبوم لتسمية الجينر الوليد. لاحظوا كم الفرق اللى ذكرناهم و اثروا بشكل كبير على الموسيقى اللى بنسمعها لكن الفريق اللى هو حالة متفردة لوحدها هيك منشوف مين اعجب بيهم اتاثر بيهم:- slash metallica triple h المصارع و فرق كتيييييييييير اتعملت كتحية للفريق ده فرق كتيرة من التراديشنال مرورا بالروك وصولا للاكستريم اتاثروا بالفريق ده جدا و يعتبر الفريق ده واضع حجر الاساس للspeed metal فخر الصناعة البريطانية motorhead فريق من اقوى الفرق تاثيرا على اجيال من الفرق و الاشخاص خصوصا lemmy اللى ناس كتيره بتعبره من اباطرة الميتال رغم انه مش بيعتبر نفسه ميتال اصلا المهم مابيصير نقول بريطانيا و مانحكي عن هلباند و طبعا صعب انسى الفريق العملاق judas priest صاحب الرائعة المعدن البريطانى british steel . الفرق هاد لولاها مكناشفنا لا ميتاليكا و لا ميجاديث و لا سلاير و لا كنا شفنا ميتال اساسا. اما المودرن روك و ميتال فبريطانيا قدمت لينا فرق كتيرة جدا في المجال هاد و ليها معجبين كتير تعالى نشوف متل مين:- في oasis الفريق هاد حطم ارقام قياسية في المحافظه على مراكزه في القوايم و عندهم رقم قياسي في عدد الاغانى اللى دخلت السباق في التوب 10 حيث ان عندهم اكتر من 22 اغنية و يعتبر الفريق مؤثر و سبب في ظهور فرق متلmaroon 5 و the killers . و عندنا الفريق الكبير cold play , و اللى بجانب نشاطهم الفنى الناجح عندهم رصيد ضخم من المشاركة في الانشطة السياسية و الاجتماعية. و طبعا مالزم ننسى عملاق البوست جرانج bush و الشقلبة اللى عملوها اول ما طلعوا و نجاحهم الخرافى في التسعينات. و طبعا ما مننسى radiohead ببيعهم لاكتر من 30 مليون البوم و حصولهم على المركز 73 في افضل الفرق في التاريخ و يعتبروا عامل مؤثر في كذا فريق سواء في الروك او برا الروك. ية هي دولة فريدة من نوعها و مميزة مثل السويد جارتها الكلام الان على ######## #### النرويج فى عالم الميتال #### ######## تمتلك النرويج على عدد قليل من فرق الميتال مقارنة بجيرانها بحوالى 1250 فريق و لكن هذا العدد القليل امتاز بخصائص و فرق كثيرة شهيرة و محبوبة و معروفة عالميا . من اوائل التسعينيات و النرويج مميزة بأمتلاكها على قاعدة فريدة من نوعها من فرق البلاك ميتال حيث ان فرق البلاك ميتال هى الاغلبية الطاغية فى النرويج حيث ان النرويج تمتلك 625 فريق يلعبون تصنيف البلاك ميتال بتصنيفاته الفرعية و من هذه الفرق برزت اسماء كثيرة جدا اعطت للبلاك ميتال النرويجى بريق و لمعان بل و حتى جعلت للبلاك ميتال النرويجى تصنيف محدد للدلالة عليه و من اشهر هذه الفرق Image has been Click image to open in new window. ### المركز السابع ### DOOM METAL بحوالى 320 فريق لعل اشهرهم هو ### المركز الثامن ### FOLK METAL بحوالى 130 فريق من اشهرهم ######################### ### الظواهر الالمانية فى عالم الميتال ### لا يمكن الحديث عن كل بلد بدون ذكر مواطن تميزها و قوتها عن غيرها من البلاد و عندما يأتى ذكر المانيا فى عالم الميتال فلابد من الاشارة الى انتاج المانيا الموسيقى القوى فى تصنيفين الثراش و الهيفى على الاخص حيث تتركز فيها مواطن قوتهم و شهرتهم لدرجة تجعل البعض يعتقد ان موسيقى الهيفى ميتال الالمانية هى الموسيقى الشعبية الاولى فى البلاد . و لكن الكلام لا يقف عند هذا الحد المانيا لديها العديد من الظواهر الفنية التى لا بد من الحديث عنها منفردة و هى كالاتى مرتبة من حيث الاقل فالاقوى ( من وجهة نظرى المتواضعة ) #### 1 #### liv kristine و هى فنانة ذات صوت ملائكى رقيق و طبع موسيقى متعدد فهى لا تغنى فى تصنيف محدد و لكن هى تغنى ما هى تستطيع ان تعبر عنه و حلت مغنية ضيفة على العديد من الفرق الاوربية و الالمانية مثل Atrocity,, Delain, Genius, Hortus Animae, Immortal Rites. و لعل اشهر ما غنته كان مع الفريق الاسطورى Cradle of Filth فى الاغنية المشهورة NYMPHETAMINE #### 2 #### ] RAMMSTEIN ربما ليس الصوت القوى للمغنى هو يميزهم او اسلوب لعبهم الغير الاعتيادى بالمرة الذى يحمسك هو الذى يميزهم بل ربما ادائهم على المسرح هو ما يميزهم . طريقتهم فى الاداء على المسرح و جعل كل اغنية لها استعراض خاص بها و اساليب مختلفة لكل اغنية و الاضاءة و غيرها من المؤثرات التى تجعل الجمهور يحضر ليلة لن ينساها ابدا فى حياته Image has been scaled down 13% (700x370). Click image to open in new window. #### 3 #### HAGGARD الفريق صاحب الاداء الرائع و الدمج الممتاز ما بين الالحان الكلاسيكية و انغام الجيتار مما جعل له اداء ملكى مميز بين فرق السيمفونيك ميتال . و الشىء الغريب فى هذا الفريق انه بدأ اول البوم له كفريق ديث ميتال و سرعان ما تغيرت اهتمامتهم فى الالبوم الثانى ليتغير 180 درجة من الناحية الموسيقية و اختيار المواضيع و القصص لكتابة الالحان و الغناء عنها لتصبح عن الشخصيات المهمة فى العلم و قصص الحروب المجيدة فى التاريخ . صحيح ان هذا الفريق عمره و انتاجه قصير نسبيا الا ان سرعة حب الجماهير لهم و موسيقتهم الهادفة و النظيفة جعلت لهم مكانة خاصة و تصنيف خاص بهم فى الميتال العالمى . #### 4 #### SCORPIONS من انا لاتحدث عن هؤلاء المبدعين العظماء و الذين استمروا فى قمتهم على مدار اربعين سنة متواصلة و وصلت بهم عظمتهم ان يسطروا اخر سطور نهايتهم الفنية بأنفسهم فى البومهم الاخير الذى يعد تحفة فنية فى الحقيقة لا احد هنا يستطيع ان يتحدث عنهم وحدها الحانهم هى التى تستطيع ان تتحدث عنهم . #### 5 #### لعل هى اكبر و اهم ظاهرة المانية فى عالم الميتال من وجهة نظرى و هذه الظاهرة تتمثل فى اسم و مكان واحد WACKEN هو ذلك المهرجان العالمى الذى تتم اقامته كل سنة على مدار ثلاثة ايام متواصلة من الالحان المتنوعة من كل التصنيفات و من كل الفرق العالمية . و يقام منذ عام 1990 و يضم فيه كل سنة العديد من الفرق العالمية بالاضافة الى الفرق الالمانية الجديدة الجيدة و الاوربية الصاعدة و WACKEN هى مدينة ريفية صغيرة فى المانيا ولا يوجد فيها الا مركز تجارى واحد و ريف واسع و لكن اكتسبت شهرتها من هذا المهرجان الذى يقيمونه كل سنة على مدار 21 عام مر و الجدير بالذكر ان اقتصاد هذه البلد يقوم على هذا المهرجان و على مشتريات الزائرين و السياح من هذه المدينة حيث ان عدد المتفرجين قد يتجاوز عدد 70,000 متفرج و اترككم مع الصور
